Montrell Pryor is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and Advocate for mental health services, and architect of diversity, equity, and inclusion for people of all ages.
An alum of Western Kentucky University, he received a Bachelor and Master of Social Work.
He is also a graduate of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with a Master of Special Education.
Montrell pursuing his Doctor of Social Work, with an emphasis in clinical social work, from the University of Kentucky.
Montrell specializes in the holistic care of black men.
Treating common disorders such as anxiety, depression, and all trauma related disorders; Montrell has a variety of expertise in relation to the life span of Black boys and men.
In addition to his work with Black boys and Men, he also has experience and expertise in working with those who identify as Gay, Bisexual, or Trans.
Being trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Montrell uses this modality as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist clients with tackling negative thoughts, healing from past traumas, and restructuring their thought process to create and foster a better future.
Sharpening his expertise, Montrell also focuses on the psychosocial impact of money and is currently working towards his certification in Financial Social Work.
