Dennis Cornell, MSW, LCSW, BCD has been practicing clinical social work for 20+ years, and will graduate with his Doctorate of Social Work degree specializing in social work education from the University of Kentucky in may 2022. He is a U.S. Army Veteran and was the equal opportunity leader for his unit, and behavioral health provider. Aa a social justice advocate, Dennis has lobbied for change for the LGBTQ+ community for many years. He has been a social justice educator, writer, and facilitator on anti-racism and intersectionality, and was a member of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Black/African American Special Emphasis Committee. Dennis has led many workshops and presentations on race, sexual health, military behavioral health, and gender identity/sexual orientation.
