Greetings. My name is TuNice Cole I am a certified social workers and the high school counselor at S.t Francis School in Louisville, KY, I hold a Masters in Social Work from the University of Louisville and will receive try Doctorate of Social Work from the University of Kentucky in May 2022. I have worked in many facets of social work over the past 12 years, primarily with children and families within the community providing therapeutic and educational services. My goal is to creating safe spaces for children and adolescents to blossom into healthy young adults.
I strive to empower young people to be themselves, believe in themselves, and understand that they will always be enough just as they are. Additionally, I aspire to create opportunities for growth and change and to combat injustices against members in the Black community by police. I look forward to developing a community-oriented policing program that will build trust and relationships in order to ensure that community resources are available and accessible, and that police officers effectively engage and communicate with community members. I look forward to working collaboratively with others to create systematic change, build trust, and save lives.
Peace, TuNice.
